A highly anticipated exhibition of collaborative and individual works from brothers David and Robert Mach.
David, a Royal Academician, is famous for his bold, large-scale sculpture and installation often made from commonplace objects and materials. Having created an array of well loved public works across the UK he has become a defining figure in contemporary British art and his ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary has also brought him an international reputation.
Having worked for his brother for over 20 years the last decade has seen Robert forge his own artistic career. Best known for his works with common confectionery foil, particularly the iconic Tunnocks Teacake wrapper, he endeavours to explore ‘stuff’ from the ordinary world we inhabit daily.
This show will be their fourth joint exhibition and will contain several of their combined creations including a pair of larger than life cheetahs produced especially for the show.
